Thanksgiving Month Introduction...
Psalm 34:1-8
(Memorization Scripture 1-3,7-8)
1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.
8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
【Reflection】After David escaped from the presence of Philistine King Abimelech, he composed a psalm to thank God for answering his cries in times of distress. In the midst of hardships and difficulties, God listened to his prayers and delivered him from all fears and troubles. David declared, "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth." He also invited us to join him in exalting and thanking the name of the Lord, for He sends His angels to encamp around those who fear Him, ensuring that anyone who looks to Him will not be put to shame.
When you encounter difficulties and spiritual valleys, never forget that our God is good. Open your eyes of faith and see that His messengers are encamped around you, just as the fiery chariots and horses surrounded Elisha on the mountains. Not only do we see, but we also get to taste the grace of the Lord and experience His goodness in our everyday lives. David said, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." (Psalm 34:19) Praise the Lord, for blessed are those who take refuge in Him!
